ChessMonitor Mobile App

We are launching our app: ChessMonitor is available on iPhone and Android now!

Update

April 27, 2026

ChessMonitor is now available as a mobile app for iPhone and Android!

We’ve built an app!

Over the past few months, we’ve been working on bringing the ChessMonitor experience to mobile. You can prepare for opponents, connect your accounts, and even run the latest Stockfish 18 natively on your phone.

If you already have a ChessMonitor account, you can simply log in on mobile and everything will be there, ready to go. That said, the focus of the app is currently more on preparation than statistics. That means some features (like the Elo estimate) will come to the app later.

Development with Anish Giri

One big difference while building the app was having Anish Giri involved throughout the process. He gave a lot of feedback and contributed to many design decisions, helping to make the app as useful as possible, even for professional chess players.

We have a lot of plans to further improve the app experience (and the website as well), so stay tuned. This is just the beginning.

Thanks to Supporters

A big thank you to everyone who supported us during the testing phase and shared feedback. Special thanks to Steffan Luong, a friend of mine (Thomas), who supported us in the development process. Since this was our first time building a mobile app, there was a lot to learn and his help made a big difference.

Try it now!
